Vaccinations and Medical Certificates – Most countries require proof that your pet is up to date on their shots and is not carrying any transmittable diseases, like rabies. Visit your veterinarian well in advance for a thorough checkup to make sure your pet is healthy and fit for travel, and to acquire the necessary records. Make multiple copies of everything so you will have a backup to those that accompany your pet on the journey.
Identification – A collar with tags bearing critical information like your address and smartphone at home and abroad is an absolute must.
