The Umrah pilgrimage is a voluntary act for Muslims. Anyone wishing to perform Umrah rituals does it entirely out of their personal choice. There’s no religious obligation for Umrah, yet it’s recommended in the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (SAWW).

Umrah rituals can easily be completed in 4-5 hours maximum for an adult and healthy pilgrim. On the other hand, older people may require a day or two to complete holy rituals.

Multiple Umrah in a Single Trip
If a pilgrim travels to KSA on an Umrah visa, know that the visa is only for a specific purpose. Any pilgrim cannot overstay his/her visa. Plus, working or touring the region is also not allowed on Umrah visas. Therefore, pilgrims should ensure they spend their entire time in KSA only for holy rituals.
Previously, these visas only had a validity of two weeks. No matter what, a pilgrim had to depart from the kingdom on the 15th day of arrival. Otherwise, legal proceedings can happen. However, under the Saudi Vision 2030 plan, the Umrah visa validity was extended to 90 days.
