In the 1990s, the Indian economy was much worse and India was struggling a lot to improvise the situation. To overcome the situation, in 1991, India adopted a new economic policy called (Liberalization, Privatization, and Globalization) and after that, the Indian economy started growing at a relatively fast pace as India got recognition and exposure on the global platform for the first time. This was the time when businesses started growing rapidly in all sectors as India started getting foreign investment and the Indian government kept on working in making the FDI policies more attractive to get more investment. Among these sectors, one was the education sector which has a huge contribution to the development of any country. All the institutes under the Indian education system started revising their syllabus and patterns according to the Global structure to meet the global requirement and many such institutes that revise their pattern periodically or time to time from 1991 till now to meet the global parameters and one such institution is Christ university, in which taking admission for many students is not less than a dream.

The Christ University was founded in 1969 as an autonomous college in Bangalore, Karnataka before the introduction of LPG policy in India and later in 2008, the central government declared the university as an institution deemed to be university under section 3 of UGC Act 1956 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India and the priests of the Catholic religious order, CMI, part of Syro Malabar Major Archiepiscopal Church is responsible for the overall management of Christ University.

Bengaluru is already famous all over the world as Silicon Valley and is also called India’s largest IT hub. But in addition to all these issues, Bangalore can also be considered around the world due to the education industry and one of the leading countries in the field of education in India, using a wide range of favourite colleges, colleges and an expert education system that has developed over several decades. It is the most preferred university for courses such as MBA, Btech, and ranked 2nd across the boundary of Bengaluru after the IIM Bangalore, which is also known as the star of the Indian education system. this is the reason that students from more than 50 countries around the world, including India, apply for admission in it every year, and Christ university admission is still going on.

The University offers various UG, PG and Ph.D. courses with a total of 179 courses across 15 streams. For admission in various UG courses such as BBA, BBA (Hons), BBA (Finance and Accountancy), BBA (Finance and International Business), BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB (Hons), LLM, B Com (Hons), B Com (International Finance), B Com (Professional), BA-CEP and BHM, students have to go through an entrance exam name CUET exam (Christ University Entrance Test) and the Christ university fee structure varies for all these courses varies from course to course. The application form for the CUET exam has been released on 8 December 2019 on the official website and the last date to apply was April 8, 2020, and April 20, 2020, for the session I and session II respectively. For the admission in MBA, which is the most famous course of the university and the high return on investment too, CAT (Common Admission Test) score is considered and as an eligibility criterion, a student should have a minimum of 70 percentile only then he/she can apply for the MBA and after which a personal interview and group discussion round for selected students is conducted and based on that the final merit list is prepared. Christ university fee structure is on the slightly higher side but according to the placement records, after the completion of the degree, the career growth is very good.

Facts About the University:

Apart from its education quality, this University is known for many other things such as cultural diversification as in this university, more than 58 country students come and study every year. This university is the first and only university in the whole of South India which has received accreditation from the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with grade A.
